Should those who design a system or write programs for a system be legally responsible if their products results in error or damages? Why? Obviously the software maker should be responsible for mistakes in the product. However, the high demand in computer software and the restless consumer always starving for innovations, updates and new releases, have tightened the programmers deadlines, increased the complexity of software, and put an tremendous amount of pressure on them, which has created a favorable environment for programming errors to be unnoticed due to deteriorating work methods.
