Brill Ration Balancer Guide ANSC 324 Spring 2004 To Begin: Log on to a PUCC computer Select Start Select All Programs Select Course Software Select Agriculture Select ansc Select Feed Ration Balancer 6.15 Program will install Press “OK” Select Start Select All Programs Select Feed Ration Balancer Select Feed Ration Balancer The Brill screen appears Type “Brill” for user ID Leave Password blank Press to continue Under the “Species” menu select Poultry System for exercise 1 Press Least Cost Ration Balancer icon: A box will pop up with Customer, Lot, and Ration. Type your last name in the Farm box and press enter Brill will say that it does not exist, would you like to create? Select “OK” You can put your name, address, or anything in these boxes. This will be your farm for the rest of the semester. Press to save Type “1” in the Lot box, then press enter There is no existing lot, so create one Name: Lab #3 For Animal Type, press to see a list of choices. Choose Dekalb-Delta Strain.
