Thank you so much for your help, I can’t wait to show them what we’ve made! Janna The difference between the two emails is mainly in the level of formality. While both messages maintain a professional tone, the informative email was more serious. Sending the other email to my coworker, I wanted to stay on a peer level, while hoping to exude excitement in the response we received due, in large part, to the coworker’s talents. Less importantly, the use of exclamation points and emoticons would not have been appropriate in the email to my manager....
