ENGL / Introduction to Academic Writing How to Find an Article Ebscohost 1. Go to university homepage: http://ull.edu/ 2. Click on “Library” 3. Click on “Find Articles/Databases” 4. Click on “EBSCOhost Databases” 5. Select databases that seem appropriate to topic. (Be sure to check “Academic Search Complete” at the very least) 6. Be sure to pick more than one 7. Click on “Continue” 8. Click on “Advanced Search” 9. Select “Full Text” and “Peer Reviewed” boxes 10. Type search terms into search box 11. Click “Search” 12. To look at articles, click on “PDF” or “Linked Full Text” Other useful databases can be found as follows: 1. Go to university homepage: http://ull.edu/ 2. Click on “Library” 3. Click on “Find Articles/Databases” 4. There is a list of popular databases to the left 5. Select one and use it 6.
