Both will go into your summative assessment category. 1) Huckleberry Finn Essay (due in class on Friday, Dec 10 ) 2) Artistic interpretation (to be presented during the final exam time ) PART 1: Huck Finn Essay You will write an analytical essay on The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn using the prompts that have guided your journal entries for the past several weeks. You will turn in an outline and a final draft (typed and in MLA format), and a receipt confirming the submission of your paper on turnitin.com. You will be graded on a 6 trait rubric, the same as you were for your Catcher in the Rye paper. Submit your paper in class on Friday, December 10!! Interpretation Presentation information: You will each choose a passage from Catcher in the Rye, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn , or one of the Transcendentalist essays we have studied.
