Film Analysis Class Presentation SLCC-Weber Summative Assessment In this project you will be selecting and analyzing five minutes of continuous (do not splice together various shots— use one clip up to 5 minutes long) film footage for the elements we have covered in class and presenting your discoveries to the class. It may be no longer than five minutes of film . Before you begin, you will give a very brief explanation of the context of the clip and what the film is about. You will first play the clip for the class. Then, you will play it again, however the second time you will pause the film after each example/technique (see the summary list below) that you analyze. You will explain why each technique or aspect is used. Below are some aspects (but not all); choose the ones which best apply to your clip. You must identify and explain the effect of 3 examples for each category (or chapter). On the back of this handout is a chart to prepare your presentation.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
