Mon, August 23 – Open-ended Question Summer Reading Test Turn in signed policy agreements Tues, Aug. 24 Summer Reading Test - Objective W/Th, Aug. 25/26 Bring in The Awakening to annotate for timed writing We will give the questions to you and you will have time to annotate for the open book timed writing sample on Monday, August 30. You may also create an outline for the writing sample. Books? HW: Read “Araby” by James Joyce, p. 27in Riverside Anthology. Read “Writing about Plot and Structure” in Writing About Literature. Write a 1-2 page journal entry on plot and structure in the story “Araby”, due Friday.
