Bean, Final Exam Guidelines LA11- Fall 2010 LA11: American Literature- Final Exam Information The final will be in two parts 200 points of your total Major Assignment Grade. 1) Huckleberry Finn Essay (due in class on Tuesday, Dec 7 ) a. 125 POINTS 2) Artistic interpretation (to be presented during the final exam time ) a. 75 POINTS PART 1: Huck Finn Essay You will write an analytical essay on The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn using the prompts that have guided your journal entries for the past several weeks. You will turn in an outline, a hand-written draft, a final draft (typed and in MLA format), and a receipt confirming the submission of your paper on turnitin.com. You will be graded on a 6 trait rubric, the same as you were for your Catcher in the Rye paper. Submit your paper in class on Tuesday, December 7!! Interpretation Presentation information: You will each choose a passage from Catcher in the Rye, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, or one of the Transcendentalist essays we have studied.
