Come to class on time, ready and willing to work, share, and learn for the duration of class. 2. ALWAYS treat your peers, teachers, and learning materials with respect. 3. Speak at appropriate times with appropriate words. 4. Remember that all actions or behaviors either add to or detract from the academic environment. As mature people, I know you will choose to add to our environment. 5. I expect you to take care of your business during passing period. I allow you to leave class on an emergency basis only. 6. No food or drink (other than water) will be allowed in the classroom. 7. All school and district rules will apply in this class. Please familiarize yourself with your student handbook. 8. All electronic devices should be off and out of sight during class. Supplies: You will be responsible for having the following items in class every day: Pens (blue/black ink), pencils, a 3-ring binder and dividers, lined paper, Optional: highlighters, sticky notes, markers, and a flash drive Attendance and Participation It is imperative that you regularly attend this class, and also that you arrive on time.
