Students will learn computer illustration techniques, image manipulation, digital camera use, graphic design visual literacy, and the principles and elements of art in composition. Some artistic movements such as Pop Art and Surrealism will also be studied as they relate to student projects. From painting to photography and now to computers, the ways in which art is made will always change. Essential Learning Results: Students will be introduced to the computer art process by using digital cameras to create and manipulate the images in a variety of ways. Students will use Adobe Photoshop to do basic image editing. The Class will discuss important computer art issues about copyright use and ethics in advertising and image manipulation. Students will learn how to use the computer to draw original artwork by using Adobe Illustrator and a mouse as a drawing tool. Students will be introduced to other computer art input devices that may include
