CAREER EXPERIENCE PROGRAM BOULDER TEC BOULDER VALLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT The Career Experience Program is an independent work study program offered to  students, 16 years or older, who are registered in Boulder Valley School District. A couple of basic requirements include: 1. Student is gainfully employed  and paid with a pay check; 2. Student is covered at work through the employer’s insurance for work-related  injuries, usually workman's compensation.  Generally, large employers such as  chains stores have this coverage.  3. Employer is willing to sign a Training Agreement permitting two visits a semester  from career experience instructors. 4. Parent/Guardian is willing to sign a Training Agreement permitting the student to  participate in the program. 5. Student is willing to sign the Training Agreement and understands that any  unexcused absences or suffering of grades due to work will impact program
