Block Day, January 13 th -14 th   Today’s Objectives: Students will continue to practice evaluating works of  nonfiction using the 5 steps of analysis. Students will discuss the purpose and form of satire in  a community of learners and evaluate the effectiveness  of satire in Swift’s “A Modest Proposal” Students will use their understanding of satirical form to  write their own.
