Quality Management Effects 2 Quality Management Effects In the following paragraphs the reader will be able to understand the effect of quality management in a domestic organization such as Southwest Airlines, and a global organization like Air France Airlines as well as a brief comparison of the companies. The reader will be able to see in detailed the steps of Online Check-in for both companies as well as how the Online Check-in becomes a competitive product for both organizations, and the importance of quality management. Southwest Airlines and Air France both have gone through their bad seasons in business. However, Air France in 2008 and 2009 carried 75 million passengers on their own routes and on their subsidiaries. Air France strives for excellent quality service for the travelers, and wants to accommodate the travelers needs, provide them with security, and comfort. Therefore, Air France seeks on a daily bases customer satisfaction and loyalty by providing quality management in every service (Air France, 2010) Southwest Airlines also strives for customer satisfaction, and quality service. The airline puts their costumers first just like Air France by meeting the costumer’s needs or demands. In Southwest’s mission statement people can appreciate the company’s dedication to quality; they declare that the company’s goal is security of the travelers, and their committed to quality service. The company has proven loyal to their customers, by providing quality service; the company has been voted by its passengers has the best in customer service and has many awards for high quality service. Air France has received some awards in customer service, and quality, but not has many as Southwest Airlines. Southwest Airlines, is so dedicated to their customers
