Busch Garden Overview      2 Overview Busch Gardens Busch Gardens history can be traced back to a small brewery founded in 1852, and was bought by a soap manufacturer Eberhard Anheuser; Anheuser’s daughter married in 1861 Adolphus Busch, who was a brewery provider. Busch pioneered the use of cooled railcars and pasteurization in the brewing business. The brewery was nearly out of production, but Anheuser was firm to turn the industry around, but he had no knowledge with breweries so he hired is son- in-law, creating Anheuser-Busch Corporation. In 1876 they launch a light tinted beer called Budweiser, under August Anheuser Busch, Jr. who was the president of the company from 1946 to 1975, and from 1975 to 2002 was under the administration of August A. Busch III who became CEO. Budweiser became the best-selling U.S. beer product. They also became one of the
