Introduction: This survival guide is designed to assist students achieve their academic goals while attending Axia College. This guide covers six areas: Using Axia’s Educational Resources, Upholding Academic Honesty, Setting and Achieving Goals, Managing Time Wisely, Fostering Reading Comprehension and Retention, and Applying personality and Learning Styles. USING AXIA’S EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES: Axia College provides their students with many cutting edge tools to ensure we provide our student with up to date and convenient distance learning. Within each student main login page they will find the “My Learning Resources” tab. Inside, students will find many valuable resources such as: 1. Center for Writing Excellence- Provides students with a writing tool that assists students with grammar error and there is a plagiarism checker. The plagiarism checker reviews submitted papers for any possible similarities to other written material. 2. Library- http://www.apollolibrary.com/Library/library.aspx?bc=1 The University Library provides students with the ability to research a variety of topic within the convenience of their own homes. The Library has material in both English and Spanish. 3.
