Water Resource Plan Part A After viewing the water resource problem in the video I have learned that many species of large fish are near extinction. The cause that was mentioned in the video was over fishing. There have been many studies that have concluded that in the past half century about 90% of the oceans large fish have been fished out. Now leave commercial fisherman to now fight and compete for about 10% of the large fish popular from many years ago. The environmentalists are trying to have laws enforced to limits where commercial can fish. They feel that by setting aside a portion of the World’s ocean; will allow the ocean over time to increase the fish population. The fishermen would like to solve this problem as well but feel that the solution the environmentalists came up will not address the issues with the fish population. Management and Sustainment Plan The management and sustainment plan I came up with; I feel will benefit address issues that both environmentalists and commercial fishermen. Plan of Action
