Personal Narrative 2 I have seen the purpose and meaning of my life evolve over the past five years in a somewhat different way. It may seem like a negative story to begin with but I will explain how it has helped me to grow into a better person. In the year 2005 I was working full-time and going to school full-time. I had just divorced my children’s father so my mother usually had my children when I was gone. I was very stressed, tired all the time, and sad because I was never able to see my children or spend any time with them. My oldest son had just started playing baseball so I was also upset because I could never go to his games. After so long of going through this and missing my children, I decided that I had to change something. I had never been in any trouble, never went near any kind of drugs, or even hung around people who did them. One day when I was at home talking to one of my neighbors about how it seemed there were a large number of drugs in the neighborhood I began to think that maybe I should sell drugs to make money and be at home with my children.
