This guide was created to help current and future students in adjusting to distance learning. The important things to consider when committing to a distance learning environment are utilizing the tools given, managing time wisely, organization of study, and academic integrity. Following the tips stated here will help alleviate some hassle in learning through this academic method. Available student resources The Axia college website has many tools and resources available to students including a library of materials, the center for writing excellence, and the center for mathematic excellence among other things. To use these tools it is necessary to follow a few simple steps. Most of the steps necessary will be accomplished when a student begins enrollment to the college and will be guided along by his or her academic counselor. Also, the student need to keep in mind the type of internet browser that is used and the necessary configuration such as allowing pop ups and white listing the website to ease browsing. The center for writing excellence (CWE) has many guides and tutorials for the student in need. It also has a plagiarism checker, which scans the paper for plagiarism, and Writepoint checker, which shows possible grammar errors and writing style errors in the paper submitted. Submitting a paper to each checker is a simple process. First navigate to the CWE in the student website and find the button for submitting a paper. Next, a title must be given for the paper and then uploaded. Then, check the services required and click submit. It takes some time for the
