The subject of the presentation was to inform us about the resources available to us through the counseling center and what areas of life they can help us with such as test anxiety, grief counseling, crisis intervention and referral services. 2. List five facts that you learned from the speaker. a. Test, math, and public speaking anxieties are the most difficult issues for students and the counseling center can help students deal with these issues. b. Effective studying, and good time management are good for you and can relieve many student's anxieties. A little bit of stress (not too much) is when your brain actually operates at it's peak performance, hence, stress can be good in small doses. c. Many things are attributed to stress such as family or personal problems, car trouble, learning disabilities, or bad past experiences. If you have a learning disability you should talk
