Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in MAC 2311 or MAC 3472. All inherent prerequisites from algebra and trigonometry are also assumed. Textbook: Calculus: Early Transcendentals by James Stewart, 6 th edition. Course Description: MAC 2312 is the second course in the classical and elegant topic of calculus in one variable. We will study applications (Ch. 6, 8) and techniques (Ch. 7) of integration, the calculus of parametric equations and equations in polar coordinates (Ch. 10), and infinite sequences and series (Ch. 11). Course Content: Essential topics from Chapters 6, 7, 11, 8, and 10, in that order. If time permits, we will study additional topics such as the beginning of Chapter 9 on ordinary differential
