Organizations have joined together in order to help the residence to return the irrigation system to its full potential. The Statement of Work (SOW) is to provide twelve students divided into two teams, including Dr. xxxxxx, as labor for a period of six hours on Saturday, February 26, 2011 for this project. The maintenance staff would provide irrigation system maintenance/repair training not only for the day of training, but also on other days with class representatives upon request. All parts required to repair/replace the irrigation system would be provided to the students. The tools used to clean/repair/replace pop-up sprinklers would also be provided at no expense. The students were advised, through the class representatives, that personal protective equipment (PPE) such as knee pads and gloves would prove useful to the task. Golf carts would be provided and could be used by the class to retrieve needed parts, get help from the maintenance staff, and for on-site transportation.maintenance staff, and for on-site transportation....
