Enhanced screening and “know-how” to select candidates that have the knowledge/skills/abilities needed for leadership in their market. These executive firms should be able to deliver candidates with relevant experience that a measurable track record of success in similar positions. 4. Should an organization employing an executive search firm specify the characteristics of the candidates it wished to select or describe the problems and issues the organization is facing and that the candidate will be dealing with? Yes – it should always work to focus the search efforts (with hopes to provide more qualified candidates), but it should also provide the issues to aid in screening qualified candidates.
