Task 2 The Properties of Liquids Liquids, like any other type of matter, have their own properties that help us to identify them. Differentliquids have differentproperties. In this activity,you’ll compare the properties of two liquids and use those observations to identify an unknown liquid.If you need a refresher on using balances and scales and graduated cylinders, watch the videos on measuring mass and measuring volume. Or you can read Lab Instruments and Measurements before you begin. Estimated time to complete: 30 minutes If you’ve purchased an Edmentum lab kit, remove the electronic balance, graduated cylinder, and test tubes from the bag labeled Common Materials. These materials are italicized in the equipment list below. Then gather any additional items shown in the list.
