ECM Tutorials Feb 28- Mar 4, 2011 Review In this and the next week, we will introduce some basic knowledge of Excel Macro and VBA  (Visual Basic for Application). Students are not expected to master VBA after these two weeks,  but they should know how to write a “if…end if” condition statement and a “for…next” loop.  (These materials could show in the ECM test.) A macro could be considered as a complete program or a set of commands/instructions. By  running a macro, Excel will automatically execute a set of commands. VBA is a programming  language built in most of Microsoft Office applications. You can use VBA language to write a  macro. In this tutorial, we will learn how to open/create a macro and how to use a “if…end if”  conditional statement.     How to open/create a macro?
