PERSONALIZED NUTRITION AND EXERCISE PLAN 2 Personalized Nutrition and Exercise Plan A current health problem or nutritional need that I am currently experiencing is that I don't get the recommended amounts of nutrition or I get to much in my everyday diet. When I first started this class I was under the recommended amounts by not communing enough calories, carbohydrates, fiber, linoleic (omega 6), alpha linolenic (omega 3), cholesterol, vitamin A, vitamin c, vitamin e, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, folate, vitamin b6, vitamin b12, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, zinc, selenium, potassium, sodium, and water. For grain I was getting 6.7 oz which 7 oz is recommended. For vegetables I was getting 0.7 cups instead of 3 cups. For fruits I was getting 0 cups instead of 2 cups. For milk I was getting 1.3 cups instead of 3 cups. For meat and beans I was getting 3.63 oz instead of 6 oz. For total fat I was getting 51.5% when I am supposed to get in-between 20% - 35%. For sturated fat I was getting 14.8% instead of less than 10%. For cholesterol I was getting 139mg which less than 200mg is recommended. For sodium I was getting 2454mg instead of less than 2300 mg. Towards the end of class I was getting the recommended amounts by not consuming enough calories, fruits, vegetables, fiber, linoleic (omega 6), alpha linoleic (omega 3), cholesterol, vitamin C, vitamin E, zinc, iron, potassium, magnesium, and water. For grain I was getting 4.6 oz rather than 7 oz. For vegetables I was getting 2 cups instead of 3 cups. For fruits I was getting 0.9 cups instead of 2 cups. Milk I was getting 3 cups, which is the recommended amount. For meat and beans I was getting 2.7 oz instead of 6 oz. Total fat was 26.9% which is 20%-35% recommended. Saturated fat I was getting 10.4% instead of less than 10 %.
