Unformatted text preview: MATH 472/MATH 567: Actuarial Theory II/ Topics in Actuarial Theory I Midterm #2 March 30, 2011 General Information: 1) There are 7 problems for a total of 50 points. 2) You have between 3:00-4:20pm to write the midterm. 3) You may refer to both sides of one 3in X 5in notecard. 4) You may use a non-graphing scientific and/or financial calculator. 5) Anyone still writing the midterm must stop when I call time (at 4:20pm) and promptly turn in their exam booklet. Failure to do so may result in a score of 0. 6) Make sure you have your university ID on your desk. Anyone who writes the midterm and does not follow the seating chart may receive a score of 0, unless previously approved by me. 7) Anyone caught cheating will receive a score of 0. Midterm Instructions: 1) Put your name on the cover of the exam booklet. 2) Make sure that ALL your work is shown in the exam booklet. 3) It is possible to earn full or partial credit for one or more problems by showing all your work. 4) Clearly number each problem, and clearly indicate your final answers....
