Peer Critique Memo (Stephen McDade’s Essay) by Cameron Short The overall question and purpose of the essay was answered within the essay. The essay discussed elements that Christian J. Matuschek used in his work “Homeland Security.” The elements included the types of characters the artist used, the lighting and shading of the picture, the chosen colors, and the overall design of the picture. These general ideas are good but the organization is confusing. Some of the paragraphs in the actual essay are not established in the introduction paragraph of the essay. The content that is written about is good but there could be more examples to make the essay longer and to make the essay stronger altogether. The essay is written well for a college audience. The fundamentals of the essay are well executed but the organization of the essay and the addition of content could make the essay much stronger. The style of writing is different for every person and it seems as though the voice in this essay is fine.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
