Random number and variate generation, input distribution modeling, statistical analysis of simulation output. (UPD Catalogue) 2.0 Credit Units: 3 units (2 hours lecture, 3 hours laboratory per week) 3.0 Section/Schedule: Lecture: M 9:00 – 11:00 AM; Laboratory: MTWX T 1:00 – 4:00; MWWX W 12:30 – 3:30; MHWX Th 1:00 – 4:00. 4.0 Prerequisite: ES 26, IE 28 and IE 32 5.0 Methods of I nstruction: Regular laboratory exercises that include both manual computations and hands-on computer applications will be utilized to demonstrate systems simulation as a potent industrial engineering tool.
