Express the concentration of salt in the following units: a) mg/L [10 4 mg/L] b) ppm (mass of salt per mass of total solution) [9900 ppm] c) moles/L (molarity) [0.17 mole/L] 2. The air quality standard for ozone (O 3 ) is 0.08 ppm. Express that standard in μ g/m 3 at 1 atm pressure and 20 ° C. [160 μ g/m 3 ] 3. A total mass of 500 lbs of ethanol (C 2 H 5 OH) is accidentally spilled into a river, where it is degraded by microbial action.
