Some Tips for Working in Groups 1. Respect your group members.  1. Consider all group members’ contributions 2. Be certain that no group member is left out  3. Be helpful and positive. Criticism and negativity can destroy a  writing group. 2. As a group, try to include members who are not  participating in the conversation. 3. Consistently share your individual ideas with the group. 4. Ask questions when you are uncertain or confused about  the conversation. 5. Take notes during your conversations.
