Guide to Taking This Course The logistics of taking this course are easy. Every week you have two lessons, or Modules , to study. You should read the first module ( A ) for the week on Tuesday and the second module ( B ) on Friday . These lessons are in the Modules section of the course, and are clearly marked. For example, " Week 3A " should be read on Tuesday of the third week, " Week 5B " should be read on the Friday of the fifth week. In addition to the usual two lesson Modules each week, there are a number of handouts that appear, interspersed between the lessons. These appear mostly near the very beginning of the Module list or the very end. Handouts are marked with letters: " A - ESSENTIAL - Course Guide ", " B - ESSENTIAL - Course Syllabus " , " J - My Workspace ", etc. Some of these are also required reading. The guide below will help you know when to study these handouts. Most handouts are required reading during the first two weeks even though some appear near the end of the Module list. Make sure you don't miss them in the table below.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
