Q: The owner of the toy store purchases 50 hero models to sell at $15 each. The owner from past   experience that 6% of the items will be broken by children. Find the adjusted selling price. Answer: = (50*15)/ (50*94%) =$ 15.96  Q: A florist purchases 200 roses to sell at $20 each. From past experience she knows that about   12% will wilt before they can be sold. Find the adjusted selling price.  Answer: Purchases= 200 Price: 20 each = (200*20)/ (200*88%) = 4000/176 = $22.72 Q: Find markup on selling price of an item that is equivalent to a 60% markup on cost.
