The reading assignment for next week is to read just read the one case which is attached to this message. I have edited it down to a manageable and readable size. It would be wise to read it two or three times before writing your report . Goldberg. v. Kelly Bring the case to both classes next week. The topic is Welfare and the constitutional guarantee of Due Process found in both the 5 th and 14th Amendments. This is the most complicated stuff you will see this semester - but it is also interesting and basic to an understanding of poverty law. It is "constitutional law" - which applies to all of you, every day of your lives, in everything you do that involves any level of government. ASSIGNMENT #11: Send me a 2 page report by Midnight on Sunday.
