Unformatted text preview: Exam Schedule April 25 4-6 pm in Chem 1210 Exam Format The final exam is worth 100 points and is similar in format to the midterm. It will focus on the second half of the class, although you will be expected to know general information that we discussed at the beginning of the class, such as techniques to distinguish science from pseudoscience, Occam’s razor, aspects of archaeological context, and the logic of the scientific method. The final will have one essay question worth 25 points (see sample questions below). The exam will also include: short answer (worth 5-10 points), fill in-the-blank, multiple-choice questions, and a map section (see sample of format below). The short answer questions will include pictures. You will be asked to identify how the image was used to support a claim and the problems with the evidence.
