Arizona State University — California Community College California General Education Pattern: CSUGE Students who complete the CSUGE, including the additional science laboratory requirement and the second semester of English Composition, with a GPA of 2.00, will have satisfied all lower division General Studies requirements at ASU. ASU requires all transferable course work to be completed with a grade of "C" or better. CSU Certification Areas Credits General Education: Note 1: ASU requires two semesters of English Composition. Students are encouraged to take the second semester of English Composition within Area A3 (Critical Thinking) of the CSUGE requirements. If not completed prior to transfer, students will be required to fulfill the additional composition requirement at ASU.
