Bivariate data Def: When two pieces of information on the same  unit. Descriptive statistics:  before only single variate Now, how to do descriptive statistics for bivariate data.
Graphs Are the variables quantitative or qualitative? Can have one of each, or two of the same kind For bar, line, pie graphs: Same usages as before. Second variable used to create a second “series”. The series variable typically is the variable for which you  are interested in comparing the distribution(i.e., age  distribution between males and females) 3
