Based on availability for a particular manufacturer, the choice of core is limited to one of the following three cores – EE20/10/6, EE35/18/10, and EE55/28/25. The corresponding datasheets are available at http://www.ferroxcube.com/prod/assets/ecores.htm . Input voltage: 36 – 72V, output voltage: 12V, maximum output current: 20A, switching frequency: 200 kHz. Make suitable assumptions. Problem 2: (30 points) Figure 1 shows an on-line UPS operating at unity power factor, consisting of two unipolar PWM full-bridges.
