Team Two Synopsis: Our group chose the fairytale of “Goldilocks and the Three Bears”. The three mediums we used are a YouTube video, a front page of a newspaper, and a game. The point of a YouTube video is to be outrageous and get noticed. The video is from Goldilocks’ perspective as she is breaking into the three bears’ home. She documents how she broke in, eating the porridge, breaking the chair, finding the perfect bed, being awakened by the three bears and finally her quick exit to escape the bears’ home. This video represents the reverse ideology part of this project. The original story puts shame on Goldilocks for breaking into a home but the YouTube video glamorizes Goldilocks for her efforts. The newspaper article is like a police report detailing the crime. It is a paper from the community’s reaction to the break in. For the game, we decided to design a racing board game. Each player rolls the dice to move through the three bears’ home. There are three marked stars in the game which mark the three obstacles Goldilocks faced in her story. When you land on each star you must pick up a card that determines your fate. For example, one card might say “You picked the porridge that is too hot, move back two spaces.” The goal is to make it to the window and exit first (before the bears come home). There can be two to six players and you roll the dice to see who goes first. Then you continue rolling to move through the game. If you landed on a spot marked with a star you must pick up a card and move accordingly. The first person to make it through the window wins.

Team Two Analysis of myth : “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” was originally titled “The Three Bears” but has sense been adapted into the children ’s story it is today. The story begins with Goldilocks walking through the woods. She stumbles across the house and after peering in to see that no one is home , opens the door and walks in. She sees three bowels of porridge on the kitchen table. She tries some of the first bowel of porridge but it is too hot. She then tries the second but this one is too cold. The last one is the perfect temperature for her so she eats all of the porridge. She decides she is tired after eating all that porridge and tries to sit down in a chair. The first and second chair she tries are too big. She sits in the last chair but it is too small and she breaks it. Exhausted from eating and not being able to rest she wanders into the bedroom. She tries out the first bed she sees but it is too hard. The second bed is too soft but the third bed is just right. She falls asleep in the last bed. She awakened by a commotion. The three bears have returned home to find someone has ate their porridge , sat in their chairs, broke one of their chairs, tried out all their beds , and still currently is sleeping in one of the beds. Goldilocks is stunned by the sight of the three bears and jumps up from the bed. She then
