Date: 14 September 2009 To: Mgmt 333 Students From: Dr. Vlajcic Subject: Instructions for Team Project Your team is to write a business plan, which should be approximately ten pages, and which will be due on Monday, 23 November. Your first job will be to come up with an idea for an organization (for profit or not-for-profit). The choice is entirely yours, but you should all agree on the type of organization and its mission. Then you should follow the outline (see below) to produce a clear, coherent plan for your new enterprise. We will discuss the individual parts of the plan in detail in class. Grading As stated in the syllabus, the project will be worth 200 points. Assuming that all members of your team do their fair share of the work, everyone will receive the same grade on the finished plan. I may ask you to provide written evaluations of your team members, and I reserve the right to adjust grades (even to zero) if I am not satisfied that everyone has done their fair share.
