For interest rate risk and market risk chapters, there seem to be quite a few formula and very challenging. However, for all these chapters, the content has a central theme and all discussions are centered around this central theme. So if you understand the basic idea clearly, all these discussions and various formula sound very intuitive and natural. But if you view things in an isolated way, then all these formula and discussions would sound complex. How to use end-of-chapter questions: use the relevant questions to check whether you understand the key points I list below. Don't waste too much time on doing questions.
