Considering Watchmen: Poetics, Property, Politics: New edition with full color illustrations . Rutgers University Press, 2017. In this book, the author, Andrew Hoberek provides a more comprehensive engagement reading of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbon’s Watchmen. He achieves this by providing a growing body of scholarship that have actively situated Moore and Gibbon’s novel in a relationship with traditional literature. He also gives an in-depth account of the contribution of Moore and Gibbon’s work in understanding of how, why and what it takes to get information that is contained in a graphic narrative. Hoberek finally demonstrates that the application of the technique employed in the Watchmen provides a macrocosmic way through which antagonistic panels in graphic novels can reconsider the governing truth behind the issues raised in the graphic narratives.
