The teacher will then have a discussion about the sense of taste and why it is important. The students will then be given 8 different pieces of candy that fit the terms bitter, sweet, sour, and salty. The students will be given a blank bar graph to chart their analysis on. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE(S): The Student Will… 1. Sample each piece of candy that is involved in the activity 2. Chart his/her findings on a bar graph that is given by the teacher 3.
