You are to take the end of the chapter problem you’ve been assigned from the “Questions And Problems” section and create a new problem that is structurally the same but materially different. Structurally the same means you must take the same variables that are given in your assigned problem and solve for the same variable your assigned problem solves for. For example, if your assigned problem provides the future value, periodic rate, number of periods, and then solves for the present value you must do the same. In summary, you must provide the same variables your assigned problem provides and solve for the same variable your assigned problem solves for. Your submission though structurally similar must be materially different. What does that meant? 1. All the variable values must be substantially different. “Substantial” means you must change the variable values so they are unrecognizable from the original problem. 2. You must change the names of the corporations, individuals, etc…Have fun
