Additional Practices -NOT eating pork Issues with pork in prisons: 1) handling – officials cannot force inmates to handle pork 2) knowing contents of food served – inmates have the rights to know what’s in the food 3) maintaining a proper balanced diet -Kufi > state of Florida allows inmates to wear a kufi -Name change > inmates refuse to answer to their old names, only willing to answer to the new Muslim names
