Part A “The term sustainable development means different things to different people. But, in essence, it is concerned with meeting the needs of people today without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs… …Sustainable development therefore involves: A broad view of social, environmental and economic outcomes; A long-term perspective , concerned with the interests and rights of future generations as well as of people today; An inclusive approach to action, which recognises the need for all people to be involved in the decisions that affect their lives.” – (DRIVING SUCCESS; Marketing and sustainable development, p. 2.) As a group we decided to work on an app for iPhone/Android as our final offering; to promote and develop a more sustainable market based on the most doable, sellable, and desirable with the best fit for our team’s interest and abilities. Concept Development and Situation Analysis: i.Problem identification: As of current there is a pile of complaints happening to customer service desks on a day to day basis, even though there are suggestion boxes/complaint lines and customer feedback email systems- it can be time consuming and frustrating for some of the younger generations who prefer to use and spend most of their time on apps instead. Bug List: Customer complaints-a need for customers to express themselves in both a positive and negative way – There is a need for reallocation of negative energy into a more productive system to work towards a better future. Therefore focusing on positive outcomes instead of focusing on the unnecessary negative energy A need for a more sustainable environment due to global warming Missing link of interaction with companies on a more personal level A need to find an easy way for a small group of consumers to communicate and influence a larger group of people
