The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins is a groundbreaking young adult novel. I was recommended to read this by one of my good friends and now I am obsessed with it! I am working my way through the rest of the series. Dooce.com is a blog run by Heather B. Armstrong, a professional blogger. She writes about being a mother, a wife, and all her adventures. This is a guilty pleasure of mine because I can read about someone else’s life. Good Masters! Sweet Ladies! By Laura Amy Schlitz combines Children’s Literature with poems . I love to use this book with students in order to work on fluency. It is really fun to perform these poems with multiple people! Private Peaceful
