Ill also try to reformat the table dealing with hummingbirds at some point Study guide for Midterm Exam 2 BIS103-003 SQ2011 Part 1 of 2 May 6th, 2011- The exam will be based on the study guides.- This is part 1 of 2 study guides. This should cover >90% of the exam. Part 2 will be distributed on Tuesday May 10th. It should cover <10% of the exam.- The exam will be at 3:10-4:30pm on Thursday May 12th at 1001 Giedt.- Office hours on Monday May 9th- 4:30-6pm at 3061 SLB (by Ms. Fedor)- Afternoon Dr. Inoue may be available email him for an arrangement BEFORE NOON ON SUNDAY MAY 8th if necessary.- Office hours on Wednesday May 11th- 3-5pm at 242 Asmundson (by Dr. Inoue)- 5-6pm at 3061 SLB (by Ms. Fedor)- Review session on Wednesday May 11th 6:10-8pm at 1002 Giedt (only subjects included in study guides ) .- Answer Key to questions in the study guides will NOT be posted. However, we should be able to find the answers by going over lecture materials available at SmartSite (lecture note, lecture summary, and Podcast) and our note, talking to friends about materials, and coming to Office hours/Review session.- The exam will consist of multiple choices and short to middle-answer questions.- We do NOT need to bring bluebook and a calculator to the exam.- Regrade request will be considered only if permanent ink is used during the exam. 1. It is very likely that there will be five or six big questions and one of them (15-20 pt worth) will require that we connect study guide materials and think a bit (something like the one included in the end of this guide). 2. We should tell full names of metabolites and enzymes. In Midterm Exam 2, we may not get partial credits as much as we got in Midterm Exam 1.
