Passion Week- During the last several months of Jesus’ earthly ministry, there is more hostility and opposition to Him. This comes from both the religious leaders and from some of his disciples. The Jewish leaders felt they had good reason for opposing Jesus-1) He rejected elaboration of Mosaic law and rebuked them for paying so much attention to detailed rules, forgetting about justice and mercy. (Matthew 23:23)2) He didn’t practice elaborate rituals of purification, which were expected of saintly men. (Mark 7:1-23)3) His differences in Sabbath observances, because he did not hold to all these laws Ex. Someone could walk through a grain field on the Sabbath if the grain was only up to the ankle, but the person was not allowed to walk through a grain field on the Sabbath when the grain was knee high, because the knees would thresh some ripening grain and that was considered work. Jesus declared that the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath, and implied that he was Lord of the Sabbath (Mark 2:27-28).

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
