Jesus and Mohammed Even though both Jesus and Mohammed are key factors in their religion there is significant difference between them. Jesus is known as the son of God and Mohammed is known as a prophet of Allah. Both had a major impact on their religion because the lives they lived. They helped shape their religions and although the religions are different the momentum of the life and death of both Jesus and Mohammed created the same impact. The impact that Jesus and Mohammed had was so vast that message conveyed in their lifetimes still lives on. Jesus is said to have been born in 4 B.C. in Bethlehem. The entire story of the birth of Jesus is quite miraculous. Jesus was said to be born to a virgin named Mary. Mary was married to Joseph. Mary and Joseph raised Jesus together in the city of Nazareth. Joseph worked as a carpenter. The two provided Jesus with a simple life and a humble upbringing. Jesus lived a traditional Jewish lifestyle and it was evident at an early age that Jesus had a clear understanding of the religion itself.
