DHRMASIRI - VTI18T1544 1 September 13, 2018 INTRODUCTION In order to maintain and increase the market share and revenue, the Board of Directors and the CEO of the BBQfun Company have decided to implement an e-commerce strategy. The strategy also expected to increase the customer satisfactory. Electronic commerce is a revolution in business practices (Opentextbc.ca, 2018). Under the strategy BBQfun would offer all products in an online store. In broad sense, e-commerce is the use of computer networks to improve organisational performance i.e. increasing profitability, gaining market share, improving customer service and delivering products faster. This allows the organization’s stakeholders such as customers, suppliers, government regulators, financial institutions, managers, employees and public, to enhance communications and transactions with the use of information technology. Along with other environmental challenges, organizations face three critical strategic challenges: demand risk, innovation risk, and inefficiency risk. The Internet, and especially the Web, can be a device for reducing these risks (Opentextbc.ca, 2018). The company operates Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and will be operational year-round except legislated holidays. The CEO and the Management is as follows.
